So this is my entry for the robot challenge taking place at 3Dsquirrel , I started out using zbrush to block out the main shapes once I was happy with it , I jumped into maya to build a mesh with a lower polycount ... The deadline for this challenge is the end of january , I still need to pose the character and do some compositing to present the final image ... I'll be posting the results here..!!!
